Knilling imports string instruments from all over the world including Germany, Romania, China and Italy. Once the instruments arrive at the Knilling facility in the United States, each instrument is hand adjusted for superior tone and playability.

This Knilling violin has a carved spruce, hand graduated top and carved maple, hand
graduated back and sides. The wood is treated with Spirit varnish, it has Thomastik Dominant strings and the fingerboard, pegs, and chinrest are all Ebony.
