Step One- Preview the Pianos At our Showroom
During the weeks leading up to the Warehouse Sale we will be previewing the pianos available for sale during the event for customers at our showroom.
During our Preview, trucks from Kawai will be bringing in pianos to our warehouse specifically for this event. We will have a complete listing of all the models and finishes that are being shipped to us and will be available during this sale. Because this sale is being conducted in a public bonded warehouse with tight security, our sale date is limited to Sunday when they are normally not conducting business and there is no truck traffic or other warehousing activities.
By special arrangements with the warehouse management, our staff and customers will have access to the warehouse for 5 hours only on Sunday May 4th. Because the sale is in a real warehouse we recommend that you visit our showroom to see the pianos, models, and finishes that will be offered during this 1 DAY EVENT. By visiting our store before the sale date, you will be able to hear and try the pianos in an environment where we can assist you in your purchase decision. (Your research should be done before the event- leaving your decision only to selecting the piano that provides your family the best value during the event).
Why a Warehouse?
We constantly receive and deliver pianos from our warehouse. In the past we have had truckload sales in our parking lot, but recently the city of Naperville has prohibited these types of events. That is why we arranged to hold the sale in our warehouse.
Why should I Preview a Piano when I can just go to the warehouse and buy it?
The reason is that we will have only a limited number of unboxed and uncrated pianos available for showing at the warehouse. Because they are factory sealed we will not be able to open them up to show finishes and styles at the warehouse. That’s why we are doing a preview. In the past when we had the Event in our parking lot, it was just a few steps to our showroom so display was not a problem, but with the event being held off site- the preview is important for you. You can preview the piano models that are available for sale at our showroom. You will be able to try the pianos, and learn all about the features of each model. Then, when you can narrow down your choices to a few models that meet your needs, you can take advantage of warehouse prices on the day of the sale knowing the model and color you want.
What about financing?
We will be accepting personal checks, cash, and credit cards at the warehouse. There are also some excellent consumer financing programs available during the sale, and we can 'pre-approve' you with no obligation. You can read about these finance options later in this page.
Why do I need an invitation to attend the Warehouse Event?
Because our warehouse is not open to the public, it has restricted access and we must maintain very strict control over who has access to the warehouse. Warehouse employees will be present at the door and verify that each family is registered. The warehouse employees will log your time of arrival as well as your departure. It is for security purposes only.
How do I get a reservation?
There are no restrictions on who may have an invitation or how many people in your party can attend. However, you must have at least one invited guest to gain access. You can receive an invitation by visiting our showroom, or by completing the free invitation request on this page.
If I request an invitation do I have any obligations?
No. You are under no obligation to attend. You are under no obligation to purchase. You may arrive and leave anytime during our sale hours without restrictions. The invitation simply puts your name on the security list so that you can gain access to the event.
What about pricing?
We are one of the largest piano dealers in the Chicago area, and we were able to accomplish this by specializing in making quality pianos affordable for families. On occasion we are offered extra factory direct incentives that make this type of event possible. This is such an occasion. If you ever wanted to purchase a high quality piano- this would be the time to act.
Can you quote me a price on the phone?
We can provide you with lots of information about the event and the pianos on the phone. We can even give you price ranges. Unfortunately individual prices cannot be discussed on the phone since in co-operation with the manufacturer, the prices are EVENT ONLY PRICING. You can obtain specific pricing during your preview, or at the event.
When is the sale officially over?
The sale ends at the close of business on the Sunday of the event. On Monday, the remaining factory inventory that was sent in specially for this event will be loaded up , and away it goes- along with the extra Factory incentives, financing specials, and other deals. We will be open for business as usual on Monday, but this Warehouse Event will be officially over.
What types of pianos will be at this event?
Only new acoustic and digital pianos will be offered. No "professional stage products" or "plastic keyboards" will be available at this event.
Step 2- Attend the Warehouse Sale on Sunday -May 4th
This is the easy part. Every invitation will include the warehouse location along with driving directions. The sale begins at 12:00 noon, and ends at 5:00. Bring your check book, bring cash, or bring your credit card. On the day of the event, immediately after your purchase, our staff will schedule delivery to your home beginning on Monday. You will have a firm delivery day and time when you leave the event.
What is going to happen at the event?
The warehouse men will have assembled all the available pianos into a central location. Our staff as well as factory representatives will be on hand to assist in your purchase the day of the event. Most pianos will be in original factory crates and boxes. By taking advantage of our preview showing, you should be comfortable with the model and finish you are looking to purchase. At the day of the event we will be confirming the model and finish availability and processing your purchase.
How long before you deliver my piano?
You will receive a firm delivery date and time at the event, and you know there will be no delay because you will have personally selected the exact piano you will receive.
What about factory Warranties?
These are new pianos and they carry a full manufacturer warranty. These are not distressed pianos, rejects from a bankrupt dealer, or reposessions. These are brand new pianos direct from the factory, and this event is authorized by the factory and done in full cooperation with the factory.

The drawing will be held on August 5th, 2008, and guess what? If you have purchased a Kawai piano from us and then win- Kawai will either deliver your new piano (if you want it),or refund the purchase price of your piano up to $10,0000 cash. So there is no reason to wait to see if you’ve won before putting that new piano into your home.
