REVIEW OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT

Thank you for considering NAPERVILLE MUSIC as your source for band and orchestra instrument rentals.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality instruments at the lowest possible prices. Unlike vendors in the school, who keep their rental agreements "top-secret" until you sit down for their sales pitch, we have been publishing our rental agreements on-line for over 8 years. We do this so you have the opportunity to review our rental agreement at your leisure, well in advance of your actually making a rental decision.

There are a few ways to rent.  You may complete your transacion online by selecting our rental online form, or if you prefer you can just reserve online. You may pickup your instrument at our store, or is some cases we can ship it to you. A drivers license and credit card are required for each rental. Reserving online needs less personal info. Renting on line allows us to prepare your agreement so that you can simply sign and go. The choice is yours- we never take any funds until you get your instrument. And both a reservation or rental can be cancelled without any penalty if you change your mind.

Our rental pages are secure. But If you do not want to provide credit information on the internet, you can use our reservation form, and provide this information to us at the time your instrument is picked up or shipped. To avoid confusion, please submit multiple instrument rental or reservation requests individually.

You can also reserve or rent an instrument by calling our store. We have thousands of instruments but at the peak of rental season, all instruments are subject to availability. We will notify you immediately if the instrument you are requesting is not available. You will be provided with a competed contract including instrument specifics, serial number, value, and other disclosures at the time the instrument is picked up or prior to shipping.

Here is our rental agreement:

RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I agree to pay a promotional rental fee for the first 4 months (120 days) for the rental of the instrument as advertised. This is a promotional rental fee and promotional rental term. Thereafter, I agree to pay the standard rental fee, as advertised for each 3 month period (90 days). I understand that the rental fee within a rental period is not refundable and will not be prorated if the instrument is returned within a rental period. After the promotional period, I agree to pay the regular rental rates as advertised and disclosed on my agreement. The standard rental period is 90 days. Your first regularly scheduled payment will begin 120 days from the date of your rental. It is agreed that I, may return the instrument at any time prior to expiration of any rental period without obligation; 2) that full title and ownership of the merchandise will remain with NAPERVILLE MUSIC until full payment has been made; 3) that I will pay all fees necessary for any legal restitution of the merchandise or collection of monies due. 4) this rental is for local use only, and instrument must be returned if the renter is leaving the Chicago-Metro area.

REPAIRS-DAMAGE-LOSS

The rental fee stated, includes a damage, repair and theft waiver fee on the instrument. Repairs and adjustments to the instrument, made necessary by normal use or accidental damage will be made at no charge to the customer. Should a repair be required simply, return the instrument to the store, or contact us to make arrangements for shipping. You will not be charged for any shipping or handling relating to the repair and adjustment of an instrument while under our rental agreement. This contract may be terminated by Naperville Music, if in it's opinion, the instrument is being abused or used in a negligent manner. Should the instrument be stolen, you must make a report to the local police. Upon receipt of the police report, Naperville Music may, at it's option, terminate the rental with no further money due, or replace the instrument, allowing the contract to remain in effect. Abandonment, and negligent safe keeping is not covered. Loss of the instrument under these conditions are the responsibility of the renter.

PURCHASE OPTIONS
I understand that 100% of the rent less $3.00 per month damage and loss waiver fee, will apply towards the band instrument listed on this contract at the price specified. We will discount your instrument 30% of the unpaid balance if you wish to prepay on the instrument you are renting. If a new like-kind Step-Up instrument is desired at the time of purchase, the applicable portion of the rent will apply to the current retail price of the desired Step-Up instrument. If the instrument rented is a string instrument, up to 2 years of rent, less $3.00 per month damage and loss waiver fee, will apply to the purchase of a like-kind full sized instrument at the current retail price of such instrument. The purchase conversion of either a band or stringed instrument must be continuous with rental payments. No open credits toward future purchases are allowed.

l hereby authorize Naperville Music, or it's processing agent to automatically process my scheduled periodic payments with regard to this account by charging my credit card for such payment. Payments will be processed on, or slightly after the scheduled payment due date. Payments will be processed every 3 months. (You may also pay by coupon booklet if you desire).

DEFAULT AND DELINQUENT PAYMENTS

The renter agrees to provide Naperville Music with a valid credit card at the time of rental, and upon request, provide another valid card if the original card is cancelled or terminated for any reason. If for any reason the scheduled rental payment is rejected by the credit card issuer, Naperville Music will notify the renter of the rejected transaction. Upon notification, the renter agrees to provide Naperville Music with a valid credit card to which the current and future payments may be charged. If after 30 days of a scheduled payment, Naperville Music is unable to process a valid credit card transaction with regard to this account, this rental contract shall be in default. Upon notification of the default, the renter agrees to promptly return the instrument, and pay all past due balances. Upon return of the instrument and payment of all unpaid rent, this contract shall be terminated, and the customer shall have no further obligation.
