Districts Announce Parents are able to obtain their instruments from any music dealer. In breaking with traditional practices where the school districts promote a favorite dealer, most districts now encourage parents to seek an instrument dealer that best meets the needs of the parent rather than the District.

Who benefits from a low introductory price,
and a low monthly price not available from your School's Music Vendor ?

You do!

When questioned about why their introductory rates are so high, many vendors will reply " the only ones that benefit from a low introductory rate are the kids who quit". Actually nothing could be further from the truth. Every parent benefits from our low introductory rates because it saves you real money-right from the beginning.

But who else benefits from our low introductory rates? The kids who think they might want to try to play any instrument.

Let's face it, gasoline prices are through the roof. Home mortgage rates are increasing, and almost every family we know is feeling the pinch of fewer discretionary dollars to spend. Parents would never deny their child the opportunity to play a musical instrument if it was in their budget. A low and affordable introductory rate means that kids can learn to play when otherwise they might not have the opportunity.

So what would you rather pay for your child to try out an instrument? $15 or $72 ?

Now, a school vendor might also tell you that you better watch out if you select a "value priced" provider over the high-cost school vendor because the rate will increase. Well in a way they are right. We offer a low introductory rate so your child can try to play and instrument without it costing you a fortune. For example our introductory rates do in fact increase to a higher cost per month after the introductory period. But if you compare our regular rates to the regular rates of other vendors, you'll find that you are still saving money every month for the same quality instruments, and you had a chance to try an instrument for a low initial cost. You can check out the actual rates of every instrument we rent by clicking here.
So what would your rather pay after the introductory period, $26 per month or as much as $35 or more per month?

Since we are talking about saving money, let's take a look at the cost for the "insurance", or "maintenance fee". This fee does not accrue as a credit to your purchase. This fee is what every dealer uses to keep the instruments in good repair, provide loaners, and provide replacements if an instrument is accidentally damaged.

Every dealer has a fee. The questions to ask are:
* Is it included in the monthly rates beginning quoted? (our fee is included)
* and most school vendors simply tack on another $5-6 per month when your not looking, or by using the inconspicuous * * * a few times).

How much is that fee? (Our fee is $3 per month- lower than every other dealer who services your school). What does this mean to you? More of your payment is applying to the purchase than with other companies. Low maintenance fees is another way that we actually save you money. Would you rather pay $3 fee per month or as much as a $6 fee per month?

Why do the some vendor fees vary by instrument? Remember the higher the fee, the less of your money that goes to the purchase. Fees that differ by instrument make no business sense to us, because we spread these expenses over all rented instruments. The more instruments we rent, the less it costs us per unit. It costs the same to fix a bent clarinet key as it does to fix a bent alto saxophone key. Our fee is the same regardless of instrument.

A lower introductory rate along with a lower monthly rate will always save you money.

We Want More Children to Play Music

We believe that as many children as possible should have the opportunity to play an instrument. We also know that in many cases the high cost of renting an instrument stands in the way of that happening. We think that the more affordable it is to rent, the more children who will have an opportunity to participate in music.
On a final note, our competitors might lead you to believe that there is some sort of trick with low rental rates. Here's the reality of the situation. Look at our website and see what we do. Look at our competitors website and see what they do.

We are a full line music dealer. We rent, we sell, we teach, and we service. We deal in guitars, amps, band and orchestra instruments, sheet music, and pianos. We've been doing it for over 30 years! That's the secret. We spread our overhead over lots of transactions- not just band and orchestra rentals that happen once each year.

We hope that this helps clear up some questions that are raised about the value and importance of low rental rates to families. We hope that you will consider us for your rental needs.
