Our rental program is designed exclusively for parents who have students that are participating in an organized school band or orchestra program. Many parents ask us about the issue of 'preferred vendors' and ' recommended brands'.
If your school district operates under a 'closed or restricted recruitment policy', or if it has, or promotes, a "Preferred Vendor or Dealer", you will find that coincidentally, the recommended instruments will always be the instruments the "preferred dealer" is marketing to that particular school district.
Recommending specific models is simply another method by which many dealers attempt to maintain higher rental prices. Generally when the 'preferred vendor' changes, so does the recommended instruments. You might think of it as a political issue.
As a parent, you should know that there are dozens of reputable manufacturers, producing quality instruments for students. There is also a difference between a recommendation (opinion) and a quality standard. All American manufacturers meet the student instrument quality standard, and many name brand foreign instruments do as well. Unfortunately, there are also some instruments available in the market that do not meet these quality standards. Always stick with a name brand from a dealer you trust, and you can't go wrong. The answer is simple. We are a full line music dealer. That means that we sell, service and teach ALL INSTRUMENTS (much like 'Super Stores' sell lots of different but related items). As a result, our operating overhead is less per instrument than a company that only focuses on renting band and orchestra instruments. WE SERVICE WHAT WE RENT
If you are close to our business in Naperville, and would like to bring your instrument in to us for repair, you'll be glad to know that most of the instruments that need repair, are repaired in just a few minutes by our technicians- while you wait. If we need to keep the instrument overnight, we provide a free loaner instrument. If you are outside our local area, you can contact us by phone or e-mail, and we will arrange for you to have a replacement instrument normally within 2 business days of your call or contact.

WE RENT NEW AND LIKE NEW INSTRUMENTS
We all know what a new instrument is, but did you know that a like-new instrument is a great option for many parents. A like-new instrument was used by a student for a very brief period of time, and as a result we no longer consider it brand new. In most cases you cannot differentiate between a new and a like-new instrument. One advantage of a like-new instrument is that it has a lower purchase value than a brand new instrument.
One of the key benefits of our rental program is that we allow you apply your rental credits towards the instrument you have been renting, or to a new instrument. And in addition, you have the option to choose the brand and model instrument you want at the time of purchase even if you choose an upgraded model. You only need to pay the price differential at the time of purchase.

Your satisfaction is very important. That's why we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If either you, or your child, are not completely satisfied with your instrument within the first 15 days of rental, we will fix it, exchange it for another one, or refund your money.
