Rich Tone & Responsive Action
Experience an expressive musical journey with the GP170, which features high-quality components for a captivating sound.
Tapered Soundboard: It boasts an all-spruce, solid core soundboard, strategically tapered to optimize flexibility and enhance vibration transfer, resulting in a rich, resonant tone and wide dynamic range.
Strings and Hammers: Equipped with premium German Röslau strings and Pearl River's own PR 2.0 hammers featuring imported German felt, the piano delivers excellent tonal clarity and a responsive touch.
Precision Action: The reliable Pearl River action, built on an extruded aluminum action rail, provides a consistent, fluid, and professional playing experience.
Durable & Elegant Construction
The GP170 is built to last, with robust construction and a timeless aesthetic that complements any setting.
Iron Plate: It utilizes a traditional sand-cast pure iron plate, finished by CNC machinery, which provides essential structural integrity and minimizes undesirable harmonic feedback.
Tuning Stability: A 17-ply, cross-banded maple pin block ensures excellent tuning stability across various climates and seasons.
Classic Design: The cabinet features a luxurious high-polish ebony finish that fits both classic and contemporary spaces, complemented by solid brass hardware.
Safety Feature: A practical slow-close fallboard mechanism is included to protect fingers and prevent the key cover from slamming shut.
