Tone and Performance
The piano's sound quality is highly regarded for its wide dynamic range and improved sustain, a result of careful material selection and design.
Soundboard: An all-spruce laminated soundboard (or close-grained solid spruce in some markets) is used, tapered for improved flexibility and resonance.
Strings: German Röslau wire is used for all strings, contributing to the instrument's clear and sustained tone.
Hammers: High-quality Pearl River hammers are utilized, offering a balanced and assertive tone.
Action: The proprietary Pearl River action is designed to be light and balanced, offering exceptional control and a responsive touch, helping to develop correct playing technique.
Plate: A traditional sand-cast iron plate, finished by CNC, ensures structural integrity and durability.
